Tulips from Flevoland

In springtime, tulips in every colour, as well as gladioli and lilies, adorn large areas of Flevoland. With over 2000 hectares of bulb fields, Flevoland is the largest bulb area in the Netherlands, most of which are located in the Northeast Polder. A special Bollenroute (bulb route) has been set out, and takes in the magnificent view of the bulb fields during their two-week flowering period. Take your car and see the most magnificent bulb fields and polder villages in the Northeast Polder. The route changes annually to take in the bulb fields as these are rotated every year. Alternatively, enjoy the bulb fields during a walking or cycling tour and experience that genuine spirit of spring. There are also numerous multicoloured bulb fields in eastern and southern Flevoland.
