Conventient recreation parks
A province with this amount of space and this many scenic areas, attractions and sports options naturally has plenty of recreation parks, each with its own charm. Sports and action fans can go to CenterParcs De Eemhof in Flevoland, which has indoor and outdoor activities for the entire family. Go for wonderful bicycle rides to explore Flevoland, or climb the Via Ferrata track…Near Urk, and in the middle of wooded areas and the countryside is the Hazevreugd recreation park; a family campsite with wonderful places to camp and plenty of tranquillity, privacy and modern facilities. RCN Zeewolde has its own harbour with 200 moorings at the Wolderwijd. From the campsite, walk straight into the Horsterwold wooded area and don’t be surprised if you find yourself face-to-face with a roe deer! At Biddinghuizen, sit directly beside the Veluwemeer Lake on the large, sandy Flevostand beach, a very popular venue during the summer months. As with other recreation parks, Flevostrand has an extensive entertainment programme for its youngest visitors. The recreation teams at the various parks ensure plenty of fun and keep a reassuring eye on activities: a comforting thought for parents.
